THE ABLE MISSION STATMENT

The Action Baseball League Extraordinaires goal is to bring fun to the table, without making it a "job" to have that fun.

No Salary Caps to spend hours over figuring out. No demands of being signed up for this service or that service. No losing players your drafted and/or traded for because of some random roll of luck, or the rules mandate you let them go for free to some weaker team who didn't do their homework as well as you did. No feeling like you have another job because you have to spend an unrealistic amount of time laboring over Rosters, Rules, etc., etc., etc.

That's just not what we set out to accomplish for members of ABLE. Not that there is anything wrong with any of that if that is what your looking for, for if so, you are sure to find plenty of leagues that can satisfy your desire for that level of involvement, please just know that it is not for us. We just prefer to operate like MLB did before the advent of all those things and more that have taken so much of the focus off the field and onto the spreadsheet. ABLE Members just want to keep the "Acton" on the field of Play!

We've even gone one step further in allowing the Home Team Manager to always decide how his Regular Season Games will be played. Should you only have time to be a GM, great, just choose one of five options you have available to you as spelled out in our Constitution. In other words, your "ABLE" to play it your way!

MEMBERSHIP GUIDELINES

Pretty basic really, we just ask that you  :

Play By The Rules
(hey, they make things "easier", not harder)

Be "On Time" With League Functions
(a well functioning league requires this, your part of it's success!)

Be Courteous And Reply To Trade Offer Emails
(never hurts to send by even just a quick reply to someone's trade offer message to you)

HAVE FUN!!!
(that is what it is all about!)
